2017 Mantra

The past 15 months have been transformational for my body. After leaving OPEX Program Design certification last year, I knew how I was training and treating my body was not right for me, especially given my battle with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I made changes, embraced the process, developed patience, and now consistently live in a space of gratitude. WOW, has it made a difference!

My training is quite different then it was a year ago. Currently, I have 2 days per week of heavy lifting with short bouts of metabolic conditioning that include proper rest periods; 1x/week rowing intervals; 1x/week SHOWleg workout paired with strict pull-ups and handstand pushups; 1x/week SHOWOUT Sprints; and MyGymnastic Bodies programming is sprinkled in on rowing and sprint days. I have tripled my carbohydrate intake and get anywhere from 200-250g daily, and I feel so much better. My protein is a bit less then my body weight, and my fat is moderate to low. On the weekends I treat myself and definitely partake in my favorite cocktails but steer clear of the heavy-laden sugar frozen margaritas that I used to consume on the reg.

Over the past year I have lost 30lbs, 5 inches around my belly button, and my skinfold summation score dropped over 100mm!

I write this to share I can truly say, “I get it.” When you are struggling with your fitness goals, I can relate. From hormonal issues, to overtraining, to simply not taking care of myself the best way I should, I get what you are going through. One size does not fit all. Each one of us is unique and we are constantly changing. Nutrition, training, and lifestyle protocols need to fit your needs and not the masses, which is where a personalized program designed specifically for YOU is a game changer.

Each year I kick off with a Cleanse & Restore for 21 days. The program is designed to detox on a biological level and to cleanse the cells of my body so that they are ready and open to receiving true nutrients. These 21 days go beyond nutrition; it also allows me to slow down, reflect, rest, and reset. This was one of the most valuable things I did last year and completely set my year up for success. This year I will do the Cleanse & Restore from January 18th to February 7th. Shoot me an email at if you want details and want to join me.
