A big hoLLLLLLer baller shout out to Anne! She committed to taking on the Austin Distance Challenge and crushed it! The final piece to the puzzle was added on Sunday after the completion of the Austin Half. The Distance Challenge consists of taking on 6 races over 5 months including:
This is a lot of racing in a short period of time with THREE BEING HALF-MARATHONS! What is even crazier is this gal did not run more then a mile without walking less then 9 months ago. It was so awesome to see Anne cross the finish line on Sunday at the Austin Half Marathon with a time of 2:44. Beating her time from last year by over 28 minutes!
I am so proud of you, Anne. Your hard work, consistency, dedication, determination, and drive is what sets you apart. Keep believing in yourself. Chasing your goals. Living large and taking on whatever next fitness goal you aspire to accomplish. You are a joy to coach, and I am excited to continue this fun fitness journey with you!
